Fibroblast growth factor 10 (FGF10) is a growth factor that is important during embryonic development, especially during lung, limb, brain, heart, and kidney morphogenesis. FGF10 is expressed in mesenchymal cells and facilitates epithelial-mesenchymal signaling through binding the epithelially expressed FGF receptor 2b (FGFR2b). FGF10 also functions as a mitogen for keratinizing epidermal cells, and induces the migration and invasion of cancer cells. This product is produced with no animal or human origin raw products. All processing and handling employs animal free equipment and animal free protocols.
Greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE
Tested using: 4MBr-5 cell proliferation. Less than or equal to 200 ng/mL and greater than or equal to 5.0 x 10^3 units/mg. Typical ED50 is less than 80 ng/mL.

Lyophilized from a sterile (0.2 micron) filtered aqueous solution containing 10 mM sodium phosphate, pH 7.5
Reconstitute in sterile water to 0.1 mg/ml
