Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Measured by its ability to inhibit Epo-dependent proliferation of TF-1 human erythroleukemic cells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 2 - 6 ng/ml in the presence of 0.2 U/ml of rhEpo-Fc.
Less than 1.0 EU/µg protein (determined by LAL method).
Lyophilized from 50 mM Tris, 100 mM glycine, pH 7.0, mannitol or trehalose
Centrifuge the vial before opening. Reconstitute in sterile PBS, pH 7.4 to 50 µg/ml. Do not vortex. This solution can be stored at 2-8°C for up to 1 month. For extended storage, store at -20°C.

About EPOR / EPO Receptor

P19235 NM_000121 NP_000112.1

EPOR Protein, EPO Receptor Protein, EPO-R Protein, Erythropoietin receptor Protein

EPOR / EPO Receptor is the erythropoietin receptor which is a member of the cytokine receptor family. Upon erythropoietin binding, this receptor activates Jak2 tyrosine kinase which activates different intracellular pathways including: Ras/MAP kinase, phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase and STAT transcription factors. The stimulated erythropoietin receptor appears to have a role in erythroid cell survival. Defects in the erythropoietin receptor may produce erythroleukemia and familial erythrocytosis.
