  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About DLL1

O00548 NM_005618 NP_005609.3

DLL1 Protein, Delta-like 1 (Drosophila) Protein, Delta (Drosophila)-like 1 Protein, Drosophila Delta homolog 1 Protein, Delta-like protein 1 Protein, Delta1 Protein, H-Delta-1 Protein, DL1 Protein, Npa Protein

Acts as a ligand for Notch receptors. Blocks the differentiation of progenitor cells into the B-cell lineage while promoting the emergence of a population of cells with the characteristics of a T-cell/NK-cell precursor.

Functional Assay

Functional Assay
Adipogenesis inhibition of 3T3L1 cells.3T3L1 cells were maintained in DMEM, supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum, penicilin-streptomycin. Adipogenesis was initiated by adding 1 uM dexamethasone, 0.5mM IBMX, 10 ug/ml insulin (day 0) until day 2. The medium was replaced every 2 days with new medium containing insulin in the presence or absence of 5 ug/ml hDLL1-Fc and hCD137-Fc (Fc control). Staining with Oil Red O was typically performed on day 7.

Adipogenesis inhibition. Macroscopic pictures.

Functional Assay

Functional Assay
Induction of Hes-1 with the treatment of recombinant human DLL1-Fc (Prod. No. AG-40A-0116Y). A mouse preadipocyte cell line, 3T3L1, was stimulated with 5ug/ml of human DLL1-Fc as in indicated time points and each cell lysate was prepared and subjected to western blot by using anti-mouse Hes1 or GAPDH.

Functional Assay

Functional Assay
Interaction of human Notch1 with human DLL1. HEK293 cells transfected with a human Notch1 or a human GITR ligand expressing vector were incubated with 25 ug/ml of human GITR-Fc or human DLL1-Fc FITC conjugate for DLL1-Fc binding.
