Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

The protein is biologically active as determined by its ability to induce alkaline phosphatase production by ADTC5 mouse chondrogenic cells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 0.2 – 2.5 µg/ml.
Less than 0.1 ng/µg of protein.
Sterile filtered, lyophilized
Reconstitute in water containing BSA (50 µg BSA per 1 µg of protein) to 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers
Store at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

About BMP12 / GDF7

Q7Z4P5 NM_182828 NP_878248.2

GDF7 Protein, BMP-12 Protein, BMP12 Protein, GDF-7 Protein

BMP12 / GDF7 is a member of the bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) family. BMPs belong to the transforming growth factor-beta superfamily of secreted signalling molecules that regulate diverse processes in growth, repair and embryonic development. In mouse, this gene functions as an inductive signal from the roof plate required for the specification of neuronal identity in the dorsal spinal cord.
