PathPlusTM HUNK / B19 Antibodies
HUNK is an AMPK/SNF1 -type protein kinase with a domain homologous to SNF1, a protein involved in the response to nutritional stress in yeast. HUNK negatively regulates intestinal cell proliferation, and is thought to play a role in aberrant WNT signaling activation and tumor cell growth in APC-mutated colorectal neoplasia. HUNK also plays a role in vesicular transport, and likely controls endocytosis through interaction with rabaptin-5 protein. It can induce changes in mammary glands during pregnancy.
