Description
Ferritin Light chain (FTL) is the light chain of the ferritin protein, the major intracellular iron storage protein. It stores iron in a soluble, nontoxic form. Defects in this light chain are associated with neurodegenerative diseases and hyperferritineamia-cataract syndrome, as well as neuroferritinopathy. The protein is widely found in human tissues, including the kidney, liver, adrenal, and spleen.

Usage
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:4000. Western Blot: Approx. 20kD band observed in Human Brain (Cerebellum), Liver and Placenta lysates (calculated MW of 20.0kD according to NP_000137.2). Recommended concentration: 0.1-0.3 ug/ml.
