Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of rabbit Apo-E. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between rabbit Apo-E and analogs was observed. Note: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is impossible for us to complete the cross-reactivity detection between rabbit Apo-E and all the analogs, therefore, cross reaction may still exist.
LS-F10102 is a 96-well enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the Quantitative detection of Rabbit APOE / Apolipoprotein E in samples of Plasma, Serum and Tissue Homogenates. It is based upon a Competitive EIA assay principle and can be used to detect levels of APOE / Apolipoprotein E as low as 3.9 nanograms per millilter.
Plasma, Serum, Tissue Homogenates
50 - 100 µl
Colorimetric - 450nm (TMB)
15.6 - 1000 ng/ml
Intra-assay: CV%<8% Inter-assay: CV%<10%
Due to their limited shelf life, LSBio ELISA kits are not typically stocked as finished goods. Upon receipt of an order each kit is assembled and tested to ensure that it meets specifications before shipping. Minor changes may occur to the Range, Sensitivity, and Precision. In the event of a significant change the order would be confirmed with the customer before shipping ELISA kit lot numbers reflect the date of final assembly and testing for each specific kit rather than a bulk manufactured lot. All kits are tested to confirm that they fall within their defined Inter- and Intra- assay coefficient of variation.
Assay plate (12 x 8 coated Microwells)

This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with Apo-E. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody preparation specific for Apo-E. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with pre-coated Apo-E and Apo-E in samples. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of Apo-E in the samples. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Chylomicron remnants and very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) remnants are rapidly removed from the circulation by receptor-mediated endocytosis in the liver. Apolipoprotein E, a main apoprotein of the chylomicron, binds to a specific receptor on liver cells and peripheral cells. ApoE is essential for the normal catabolism of triglyceride-rich lipoprotein constituents. The APOE gene is mapped to chromosome 19 in a cluster with APOC1 and APOC2.
