  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) kit
For the detection and quantification of endogenous levels of natural and/or recombinant Mouse KIM-1 proteins.
LS-F24859 is a 96-well enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the Quantitative detection of Mouse HAVCR1 / KIM-1 in samples of Cell Culture Supernatants, Plasma, Serum, Tissue Homogenates and Urine. It is based upon a Sandwich assay principle and can be used to detect levels of HAVCR1 / KIM-1 as low as 2 picograms per milliliter.
All LSBio Custom kits have been predesigned and all necessary components, including antibodies and standards have been identified. Upon receiving a custom kit order, the kit will be assembled and quality control tested before being shipped out. Kit assembly and testing typically takes 4 to 6 weeks. In most cases the final kit is based on the Sandwich assay principle, with a few being Competitive EIA based. Specifications such as Range, Sensitivity, and Precision are defined upon completion. In the event that the custom kit cannot be successfully developed with 6 weeks of the order date, the customer will be notified and the order canceled at no cost.

Due to their limited shelf life, LSBio ELISA kits are not typically stocked as finished goods. Upon receipt of an order each kit is assembled and tested to ensure that it meets specifications before shipping. Minor changes may occur to the Range, Sensitivity, and Precision. In the event of a significant change the order would be confirmed with the customer before shipping. ELISA kit lot numbers reflect the date of final assembly and testing for each specific kit rather than a bulk manufactured lot. All kits are tested to confirm that they fall within their defined Inter- and Intra- assay coefficient of variation.

KIM1 (TIM-1), also known as Hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 1, is a protein that in Mouses is encoded by the HAVCR1 gene. Infection of canine osteogenic sarcoma cells expressing HAVCR1 with HAV led Feigelstock et al. (1998) to conclude that the protein is indeed a receptor for the virus. Immunofluorescence microscopy demonstrated internalization of HAV by dog cells expressing HAVCR1. Using a monoclonal antibody to mouse Tim1, Umetsu et al. (2005) showed that Tim1 was expressed after activation of naive T cells and on T cells differentiated in Th2-polarizing conditions. By homology of synteny with the mouse Tim1 gene and database analysis, McIntire et al. (2001) mapped the HAVCR1 gene to 5q33.2.
Store at 4°C for 6 months or at -20°C for one year. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.

Hepatitis A Virus Cellular Receptor 1 (HAVCR1) is a membrane receptor for both human hepatitis A virus (HHAV) and TIMD4. HAVCR1 may be involved in the moderation of asthma and allergic diseases. The reference genome represents an allele that retains a MTTVP amino acid segment that confers protection against atopy in HHAV seropositive individuals.
