Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Human VCAM1 / CD106 ELISA Kit (Sandwich ELISA) - LS-F24398
For the detection and quantification of endogenous levels of natural and/or recombinant Human CD106 proteins.
LS-F24398 is a 96-well enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the Quantitative detection of Human VCAM1 / CD106 in samples of Cell Culture Supernatants, Plasma, Serum and Tissue Homogenates. It is based upon a Sandwich assay principle and can be used to detect levels of VCAM1 / CD106 as low as 60 picograms per milliliter.
Due to their limited shelf life, LSBio ELISA kits are not typically stocked as finished goods. Upon receipt of an order each kit is assembled and tested to ensure that it meets specifications before shipping. Minor changes may occur to the Range, Sensitivity, and Precision. In the event of a significant change the order would be confirmed with the customer before shipping ELISA kit lot numbers reflect the date of final assembly and testing for each specific kit rather than a bulk manufactured lot. All kits are tested to confirm that they fall within their defined Inter- and Intra- assay coefficient of variation.

Vascular cell adhesion molecule 1 (VCAM-1) is a cell surface glycoprotein adhesive for certain blood leukocytes and tumor cells, which is expressed by activated endothelium in a variety of pathologic conditions including atherosclerosis. Increased expression of VCAM1 is associated with a variety of chronic inflammatory conditions, making its expression and function a target for therapeutic intervention. Integrin alpha4beta 1 (VLA-4) and VCAM-1 facilitate a critical cell-cell adhesion event required for survival of endothelial and mural cells during vascularization. The VCAM1 gene is assigned to the 1p31-32 region of chromosome 1 based on the analysis of human-mouse hybrid cell lines and in situ hybridization.
Vascular cell adhesion molecule 1, VCAM-1, is a surface glycoprotein expressed by cytokine-activated endothelium that mediates the adhesion of monocytes and lymphocytes. VCAM-1 and integrin alpha-4-beta-1 facilitate a critical cell-cell adhesion event required for survival of endothelial and mural cells during vascularization. Studies of heart development have shown that deficiencies of VCAM and in alpha-4 integrin also result in epicardial dissolution and subsequent myocardial thinning.
