Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

LS-F10126
Sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) kit
TF / Transferrin
Human
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of human TF. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between human TF and analogs was observed. Note: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is impossible for us to complete the cross-reactivity detection between human TF and all the analogs, therefore, cross reaction may still exist.
LS-F10126 is a 96-well enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the Quantitative detection of Human TF / Transferrin in samples of Cell Culture Supernatants, Plasma, Serum and Urine. It is based upon a Sandwich assay principle and can be used to detect levels of TF / Transferrin as low as 0.006 nanomoles per liter.

Due to their limited shelf life, LSBio ELISA kits are not typically stocked as finished goods. Upon receipt of an order each kit is assembled and tested to ensure that it meets specifications before shipping. Minor changes may occur to the Range, Sensitivity, and Precision. In the event of a significant change the order would be confirmed with the customer before shipping ELISA kit lot numbers reflect the date of final assembly and testing for each specific kit rather than a bulk manufactured lot. All kits are tested to confirm that they fall within their defined Inter- and Intra- assay coefficient of variation.

  • Adhesive Strip (For 96 wells)
This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for TF has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any TF present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated antibody specific for TF is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of TF bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

TF / Transferrin is a glycoprotein with an approximate molecular weight of 76.5 kDa. It is thought to have been created as a result of an ancient gene duplication event that led to generation of homologous C and N-terminal domains each of which binds one ion of ferric iron. The function of this protein is to transport iron from the intestine, reticuloendothelial system, and liver parenchymal cells to all proliferating cells in the body.
