Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of human Lp-a. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between human Lp-a and analogs was observed. Note: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is impossible for us to complete the cross-reactivity detection between human Lp-a and all the analogs, therefore, cross reaction may still exist.
LS-F10077 is a 96-well enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the Quantitative detection of Human LPA / Lipoprotein a in samples of Plasma, Serum and Tissue Homogenates. It is based upon a Competitive EIA assay principle and can be used to detect levels of LPA / Lipoprotein a as low as 53.106 nanograms per millilter.
Plasma, Serum, Tissue Homogenates
50 - 100 µl
Colorimetric - 450nm (TMB)
62.5 - 4000 ng/ml
Intra-assay: CV%<8% Inter-assay: CV%<10%
Due to their limited shelf life, LSBio ELISA kits are not typically stocked as finished goods. Upon receipt of an order each kit is assembled and tested to ensure that it meets specifications before shipping. Minor changes may occur to the Range, Sensitivity, and Precision. In the event of a significant change the order would be confirmed with the customer before shipping ELISA kit lot numbers reflect the date of final assembly and testing for each specific kit rather than a bulk manufactured lot. All kits are tested to confirm that they fall within their defined Inter- and Intra- assay coefficient of variation.
Standard (10 x concentrate)
HRP-conjugate (100 x concentrate)
2 x Sample Diluent
Wash Buffer (25 x concentrate)
Adhesive Strip (For 96 wells)
This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with Lp-a. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody preparation specific for Lp-a. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with pre-coated Lp-a and Lp-a in samples. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of Lp-a in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
LPA / Lipoprotein a is a serine proteinase that inhibits the activity of tissue-type plasminogen activator I. The encoded protein constitutes a substantial portion of lipoprotein(a) and is proteolytically cleaved, resulting in fragments that attach to atherosclerotic lesions and promote thrombogenesis. Elevated plasma levels of this protein are linked to atherosclerosis. Depending on the individual, the encoded protein contains 2-43 copies of kringle-type domains.
