Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Recognizes the V antigen of Yersinia pestis (also known as LcrV), a 327-residue soluble protein. Yersinia pestis is a Gram-negative bacillus belonging to the family Enterobacteriaceae. Infection in humans can take the form of bubonic, pneumonic and septicemic plague amongst other less common forms. All three forms have been known for very high mortality rates during several epidemics across the world, possibly including the Black Death that ravaged Europe from 1347-1353. Although such large epidemics have not been seen since the Great Plague of London in 1665-1666, the disease still exists and there is concern as to its use as a biological weapon. The V antigen has many complex functions. It mediates the delivery of toxins into host cell, can stimulate production of interleukin-10 (an immunosuppressive cytokine) and it can inhibit chemotaxis of polymorphonuclear neutrophils. Antibodies against LcrV protect against the plague. May be used as a capture antibody in ELISA assays for Y. pestis V antigen.
ELISA: This product may be used in an indirect ELISA or as a capture antibody in a sandwich ELISA together with LS-C58385 as a detection reagent.
