A 17 AA peptide sequence located at the 2nd and the 3rd TM domain of human UCP3 (1) was used to generate anti- UCP3. The peptide was coupled with KLH (carrier protein).
Specificity
Recognizes human Uncoupling Protein 3 (UCP3). Species sequence homology: monkey-88%, humming bird-78%, canine, porcine-76%, mouse, bovine, hamster-70%, and rat-64%.

Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Western Blot: 1-10 ug/ml using ECL. ELISA: 1:10000-1:100000 using 50-100 ng UCP31 control peptide/well. Immunohistochemistry: 2-20 ug/ml in formaldehyde fixed tissues.
