Recognizes the 32kD apoptosis related protein designated TRAIL (TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand) and also as Apo-2L. TRAIL is a type II membrane protein expressed in a variety of tissues. Receptors for TRAIL have recently been identified and termed DR4 and DR5.
