A synthetic peptide C-KSKKFRRPDIQYPD corresponding to human osteopontin proteins conjugated to KLH using maleimide. A residue of cysteine was added to the N-Terminus end to facilitate coupling. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Orangutan, Gibbon, Monkey (100%); Marmoset (93%).
Specificity
Recognizes the full length Human osteopontin protein at 66kD, C-terminal fragments of both thrombin and MMP-cleaved OPN at 32kD. Does not recognizes the 40kD N-terminal fragment.
