CD43 antibody LS-C534336 is an FITC-conjugated mouse monoclonal antibody to rat CD43 (SPN). Validated for Flow and IHC.
(tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
SPN / CD43 antibody was raised against rat thymocyte membrane preparation.
Recognizes a monomorphic determinant expressed on rat thymocytes, T lymphocytes (but not B lymphocytes), plasma cells, polymorphs, stem cells and brain. The CD43 antigen recognized is a heavily glycosylated glycoprotein of mw 95000 which has a high content of O-linked carbohydrate structures. On thymocytes this glycoprotein is the main target for binding of peanut lectin. This antibody is useful for distinguishing B and T lymphocytes and also for analysis of NK cells and stem cells.
