A 16 AA peptide sequence, near the C-Terminus, cytoplasmic domain of rat TIT (1) was synthesized, coupled to KLH.

Specificity
The 16-aa rat peptide sequence is unique to TIT and no significant sequence is seen with glucose transporter or other Na+-dependent transporters. TIT from other species has not been cloned. Actual cross-reactivity of antibodies in various species has not been studied.

Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. ELISA: 0.5-1 ug/ml; Control peptide can be used to coat ELISA plates at 1 ug/ml. Western Blot: 1-10 ug/ml (ECL); A band of 95-110kD has been detected in brush border membrane. Immunofluorescence: 2-20 ug/ml. Immunohistochemistry: 2-20 ug/ml.
