A 16 AA peptide sequence from the N-Terminus, cytoplasmic domain 1 of Mouse SGLT-3 (1) was synthesized, coupled to KLH.

Specificity
Recognizes mouse SGLT-3. Mouse SG31-P is 100% conserved in SGLT3-b (gene accession # Q9ET36; 657-660 aa) but not in mouse SLGLT-3-a isoforms (gene accession # Q9ET37, 656 aa) due to divergence at the n-terminus. No significant sequence homology exists with other SGLTs. Species sequence homology: human and porcine ~37%.

- ELISA (1:10000 - 1:50000)
Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000 for neat serum and 1-10 ug/ml for affinity pure using ECL. A band of 95-110kD has been detected in brush border membrane. ELISA:1:10000-1:50000 for neat serum and 0.5-1 ug/ml for affinity purified. Control peptide can be used to coat ELISA plates at 1 ug/ml.
