A 20 aa peptide sequence within the cytoplasmic, N-Terminus of rat pNBC1 (1) was used to generate anti-NBC1.

Specificity
Recognizes rat NBC1. Species sequence homology: mouse, rat, human and rabbit pNBC1/PSLC4A5-100%. This region is unique to the pancreatic isoforms and it is not found in kidney isoform, kNBC/PSLC4A4. No significant sequence homology of was found with NBC2 or NBC3.

Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. ELISA: 1 ul using 50-100 ng of control peptide/well.
