Recognizes rat Anion Exchanger 1 (AE1). Species sequence homology: mouse 90%; human 75%; bovine 70%. No significant sequence homology is detected with other AE or other proteins.

- Western blot (1:1000 - 1:5000)
- ELISA (1:10000 - 1:50000)
Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000. AE1 is approx 90-100kD proteins. It aggregates easily forming dimers and multimers. It may also be proteolytically processed to smaller fragments of 60, 40, 20kD. ELISA: 1:10000-1:50000. Control peptide can be used to coat ELISA plates at 1 ug/ml.
