Recognizes rat Oct-1 (Organic Cation Transporter 1). The 21aa rat control peptide is 100% conserved in rat Oct1a (430aa), an alternatively spliced form of rat Oct1. No significant sequence homology is detected with other Octs or OctNs. Species sequence Homology: Mouse Oct/LX-1:90%; human Oct1:66%.

Usage
