Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

  • Western blot
Immunogen
SLC1A1 / EAAT3 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide from the carboxy-terminus of the cloned rat EAAC1.
Epitope
C-Terminus
Specificity
Recognizes Neuronal Glutamate Transporter (EAAC1; also called EAAT3). Species cross-reactivity: Rat, mouse and guinea pig. Expected to work on human, rabbit and monkey due to peptide sequence homology.
Usage
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Not recommended for use in Western blot. Immunohistochemistry: 1:4000-1:8000 using a cyanine-conjugated secondary antibody. Enzymatic methods of detection can be used, however antibody dilution must be increased to 1:10000-1:30000. Lightly fixed, 4% PFA material and the use of triton X-100 in the block only is recommended.
