Human IgA (alpha chain).
Specificity
Recognizes IgA. Assay by IEP resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-peroxidase, anti-rabbit serum, human IgA and human serum. No reaction was observed against human IgG or IgM. Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1% cross-reactivity against other human heavy or light chain isotypes.

Usage
Suitable for use in Western Blot (Western or Dot blot), ELISA, Immunoperoxidase Electron Microscopy and Immunohistochemistry. ELISA: 1:8000-1:40000. Assayed with1 ug human IgA in a standard capture ELISA using ABTS 1.46 mM/Liter for HRPO for 30 minutes at RT. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

Reconstitution
sterile ddH2O.
Storage
Store at -20°C prior to reconstitution. After reconstitution aliquot and freeze at-20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
