PROKR1

prokineticin receptor 1

Receptor for prokineticin 1. Exclusively coupled to the G(q) subclass of heteromeric G proteins. Activation leads to mobilization of calcium, stimulation of phosphoinositide turnover and activation of p44/p42 mitogen-activated protein kinase. May play a role during early pregnancy.

Gene Name: prokineticin receptor 1
Family/Subfamily: GPCR , Prokineticin
Synonyms: PROKR1, G protein-coupled receptor 73, GPCR73A, G protein-coupled receptor ZAQ, G-protein coupled receptor 73, G-protein coupled receptor ZAQ, GPR73, GPR73a, PK-R1, Prokineticin receptor 1, EG-VEGF receptor, PKR1, ZAQ
Target Sequences: NM_138964 NP_620414.1 Q8TCW9
