Synthetic phosphopeptide derived from a region of human PKA that contains threonine 197. The sequence is conserved among many species for PKAa, b, and g, including mouse, rat, bovine, porcine and frog.

pThr197
Specificity
Recognizes mouse PKA catalytic subunits a and b. Other species (100% homologous) have not been tested, but are expected to react. This antibody exibited a preference for PKA catalytic subunit b in some cell lines tested.

- ELISA (0.1 - 0.75 µg/ml)
Usage
Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Western Blot: 0.1-0.75 ug/ml. At 0.35 ug/ml, the dilution provides 100 ml working solution, which at 10 ml/blot allows 10 blots to be performed. Positive control: Forskolin-treated NIH3T3 cells, or Y-1 mouse adrenal cortical cells.
