Synthetic peptide from the prepro-NPY sequence which has no homologies to PP and NPY.
Specificity
Recognizes Preproneuropeptide Y. Antisera raised against NPY often cross-react with PP and PYY. Absorption with 10-100 ug immunogen per ml diluted antiserum abolishes the staining. Species cross-reactivity: Human and rat.

Usage
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence (frozen sections). Immunofluorescence microscopy: 1:400-1:800 with overnight incubation at 2-8?C. Positive control: Stefanini-fixed sections of rat small intestine.

Sterile, ddH2O or 40-50% glycerol and dilute further in 0.1M PBS with 1% BSA and 0.1% NaN3
Storage
