Recognizes mouse Polysialic Acid NCAM at 150-300kD. Reacts with alpha 2-8 linked neuraminic acid (NeuAc-alpha 2-8) n with n >10. Works well on all species expressing PSA-NCAM. Species Crossreactivity: Human, rat, most common vertebrates.

Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry and RIA. Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000. Immunocytochemistry: 1:200-1:400; Works on live and fixed cells. Immunohistochemistry: 1:200-1:400; Works on tissue sections either frozen or fixed with any kind of fixative. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): Requires retrieval with EDTA, pH 8.0.
