Immunohistochemistry Services

Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

TCR Screening Services

Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specifications

Description
DNA Polymerase Beta antibody LS-C153861 is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody to human DNA Polymerase Beta (POLB ). Validated for ELISA and WB. Cited in 2 publications.
Target
Human POLB / DNA Polymerase Beta
Host
Rabbit
Reactivity
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Clonality
IgG Polyclonal
Conjugations
Unconjugated
Purification
Immunoaffinity purified
Modifications
Unmodified
Applications
  • Western blot (0.5 µg/ml)
  • ELISA
Immunogen
This affinity-purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region near the C-terminus of the POL protein.
Epitope
C-Terminus
Specificity
This antibody reacts with overexpressed and endogenous POLbeta protein. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest reactivity with POLbeta from human, bovine, and Xenopus laevis based on a 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with POLbeta from other sources has not been determined.
Usage
This affinity purified antibody is suitable for ELISA and western blotting. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band approximately 38.1 kD in size corresponding to POLbeta by western blotting in the appropriate cell lysate or extract.
Presentation
Sterile Solution 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, pH 7.2, 0.15 M NaCl, 0.01% Sodium Azide
Storage
Short term: store at 4°C. Long term: aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Restrictions
For research use only.
