Synthetic peptide from Armadillo domain of human Plakophilin-3.

Reacts with the 87kD human Plakophilin-3. There is no cross reactivity with human Plakophilin-1 and Plakophilin-2 proteins. Reactivity is confirmed with human A431 cells, and HEK293 cells transfected with plasmid expressing human Plakophilin-3. Based on sequence homology, this antibody is expected to react with mouse and canine.

Immunoprecipitation: 10 ug/IP reaction. Immunohistochemistry: 10 ug/ml. Immunofluorescence: 1-3 ug/ml. Western Blot: 1-3 ug/ml. Note: Immunofluorescent assays were performed using methanol-fixed HCT8/E8 and paraformaldehyde-fixed HaCat cells. For optimal IF results, methanol and paraformaldehyde- fixed cells should be permeabilized with 0.2% Triton X-100 for 5 and 15 minutes, respectively, prior to incubation with primary antibody.
