Keyhole Limpet Hemocyanin (KLH)- conjugated phosphothreonine conjugates and Phosvitin.
Specificity
Recognizes Phosphothreonine, peptidyl-phosphothreonine, and threonine-phosphorylated proteins. Binding of Ly-pT-Gly-HRP (0.2 ug/100 ul/well) to an anti-phosphothreonine coated microplate (0.5 ug/100 ul/well) is inhibited by 95% with the addition of 2-10 ug/ml anti-phosphothreonine. No inhibition is evident by inhibition of phosphoserine, phosphotyrosine or threonine at concentrations of up to 1 mg/ml. Species cross-reactivity: species independent.

Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunoprecipitation. ELISA: 0.5 ug/ml (kinase assay). Western Blot: 2 ug/ml versus mouse brain lysate. Incubate at RT for 4 hours.

Mab anti-phosphothreonine antibody (clone 18F6) is shown to detect threonine phosphorylation of proteins in a lysate from A431 cells stimulated with EGF. Separation is achieved under reducing conditions using a pre-cast 4-20% iGel from Gradipore, Inc.
