Mucin isolated from an ovarian cyst fluid (pure endocervical type according to the Fenoglios classification). Splenocytes were fused with mouse myeloma SP2/0 cells.
Specificity
Reacts with peptide core of gastric mucin (MUC5AC). Crossreacts with mucin of different animal species after periodate pretreatment of deparaffinized sections (monkey, cat, mouse and cow).
