Synthetic peptide derived from the C-Terminus of the human MTA1 protein.

C-Terminus

Specific for the C-terminal region of the human MTA1 protein. On Western blots, it identifies doublets at ~80kD. A band of unknown origin is observed at ~150kD. Reactivity has been confirmed with human T47D cell lysates and rat testis homogenates by Western blotting, and with formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human breast cancer tissues by immunohistochemistry. Based on amino acid sequence homology, reactivity with mouse is also expected.

Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:50-1:100. With formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues, heat induced epitope retrieval (HIER) with EDTA, pH 8.0, is required prior to staining. Positive control: Human T47D cell lysates and rat testis homogenates (WB), human breast cancer tissues (IHC).
