mCherry Antibody - HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY mCherry cDNA and the cell lysates were collected after 48 hours. 0ug, 0.1ug, 0.2ug, 0.4ug, 0.8ug, 1.6ug of lysates. (lane 1 to lane 6 respectively) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with Rabbit mCherry polyclonal antibody at 1:10000.

mCherry Antibody - HEK293 cells transfected in the same way and viewed in the confocal microscope. Most HEK293 cells are not transfected so only the nucleus of these cells can be visualized with a blue DNA stain. Cells which are transfected with mCherry are bright red. Staining with mCherry antibody is shown in Green. Green antibody staining is only seen cells which express Cherry, as expected, and the superimposition of the green and red results in an orange signal. Interestingly stronger Cherry staining is seen in the nucleus, possibly due to degradation of some Cherry molecules to release the low molecular weight Cherry fluorochrome.

LCN2 / Lipocalin 2 / NGAL Antibody - IHC analysis of Lipocalin 2 using anti-Lipocalin 2 antibody. Lipocalin 2 was detected in frozen section of mouse spleen tissue . Heat mediated antigen retrieval was performed in citrate buffer (pH6, epitope retrieval solution) for 20 mins. The tissue section was blocked with 10% goat serum. The tissue section was then incubated with 1µg/ml rabbit anti-Lipocalin 2 Antibody overnight at 4°C. Biotinylated goat anti-rabbit IgG was used as secondary antibody and incubated for 30 minutes at 37°C. The tissue section was developed using Strepavidin-Biotin-Complex (SABC) with DAB as the chromogen.
