Immunogen
E. coli-derived recombinant mouse Lipin 3 (aa 428-529).
Epitope
aa428-529
Specificity
Selected for its ability to recognize Lipin 3 in the applications listed. In direct ELISAs and Western Blots, this antibody shows ~50% cross-reactivity with rhLipin 3 and less than 5% cross-reactivity with rhLipin 1 and rhLipin 2.
Applications
  • ICC (10 µg/ml)
  • Western blot (0.1 - 0.2 µg/ml)
  • ELISA (0.5 - 1 µg/ml)
Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry. Western Blot: 0.1-0.2 ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect mouse rmLipin 3. The detection limit for rmLipin 3 is approximately 2 ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions. Immunocytochemistry: 10 ug/ml to detect Lipin 3 on CCD-18co normal human colon fibroblasts. Cells were fixed with PBS containing 4% paraformaldehyde for 20 minutes at RT and blocked with PBS containing 10% normal donkey serum, 0.1% Triton X-100, and 1% BSA for 45 minutes at RT. After blocking, cells were incubated with diluted primary antibody overnight at 4?C followed by donkey anti-goat IgG at RT in the dark for one hour. Between each step, cells were washed with PBS containing 0.1% BSA.
