Synthetic 16aa peptide sequence (aa111-126) at the N-Terminus of mouse Lipin 1 (KLH coupled).
Epitope
aa111-126
Specificity
Recognizes mouse Lipin 1. Species sequence Homology: rat (93%), human and chimpanzee (81%), chicken (75%). Epitope is around 120aa region that is well before the truncation site for isoform 1; therefore epitope is present in both isoforms 1 and 2. No significant sequence homology seen with Lipin-2, Lipin-3 or other proteins.

- ELISA (0.5 - 1 µg/ml)
Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Western Blot: 1-10 ug/ml using ECL. Will recognize ~140kD mouse Lipin-1 under non-reducing conditions. It is not clear if isoform 2 is also recognized with this antibody. ELISA: 0.5-1 ug/ml. Control peptide can be used to coat ELISA plates at 1 ug/ml.

Supplied as liquid in PBS, pH 7.5, 0.1% BSA, 40% glycerol.
Storage
