This affinity purified antibody was prepared from whole goat serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to an internal region near aa 150-175 of Human p29 ING4 protein (Inhibitor of growth family, member 4). This sequence only shows homology to isoform 1 for ING4.

Cross reactivity with p29 ING4 protein from chimpanzee and chicken sources is also expected based on high homology (one amino acid change in sequence) by BLAST. Reactivity with p29 ING4 proteins from other sources is not known.

Immunohistochemistry: LS-B386 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B386 was determined to be 2.5 ug/ml.
