Anti-Human IL-1B Antibody - Western Blot. IL-1B was used at a 1:200 dilution incubated 1 h at room temperature to detect dog IL-1B by Western blot. Lane 1 and 2 were loaded with 2.5 ug and 500 ng of dog IL-1B respectively. The molecular weight of the detected band is estimated by comparison to molecular weight markers (not shown). Detection occurred using a 1:3000 dilution of IRDye800 conjugated Donkey anti-Rabbit IgG (code # for 1h at room temperature. LICORs Odyssey Infrared Imaging System was used to scan and process the image. Other detection systems will yield similar results.

About IL-1B / IL-1 Beta
IL-1 Beta is a member of the interleukin 1 cytokine family. This cytokine is produced by activated macrophages as a proprotein, which is proteolytically processed to its active form by caspase 1 (CASP1/ICE). This cytokine is an important mediator of the inflammatory response, and is involved in a variety of cellular activities, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Usage
The CRM56 antibody has been tested as the capture antibody in a sandwich ELISA for analysis of human interleukin-1beta (IL-1beta) in combination with the biotin CRM57 (LS-C106945) antibody for detection and recombinant human IL-1beta as the standard. A suitable range of concentrations of this antibody for ELISA capture is 1 - 4 ug/ml. A standard curve consisting of doubling dilutions of the recombinant standard over the range of 1000 pg/ml - 8 pg/ml should be included in each ELISA plate. The Functional Grade Purified CRM56 antibody has been tested for neutralization of IL-1beta bioactivity. The fluorochrome-conjugated CRM56 antibody has been tested by intracellular staining for flow cytometric analysis. The fluorochrome- conjugated CRM56 antibody is offered in 2 formats: - ug size: has been tested by intracellular staining with flow cytometric analysis and can be used at less than or equal to 0.50 ug/million cells/100 ul staining volume. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. - test size: has been pre-titrated and tested by intracellular staining and flow cytometric analysis of activated human PBMC and can be used at 20 ul per million cells 100 ul blood.
