Recombinant human XPA.
Specificity
Recognizes the human DNA repair associated protein designated XPA (Xeroderma pigmentosum A). XPA is a zinc finger protein of 31kD, although it demonstrates an electrophoretic mobility of 40-42kD doubled. XPA is involved in the nucleotide excision repair process. AHP452 recognizes both normal and recombinant XPA, and shows no cross reactivity with other XP proteins.

Usage
Immunohistology: This product does require antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. We recommend the use of antigen unmasking fluid for this purpose. A two hour incubation with LS-C42777 is recommended.

Long term: store at -20°C. Store at 4°C for up to one month. Do not use frost-free freezers. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles. Microcentrifugation recommended if solution contains precipitate.
