Description
Tachykinin receptor 3 (TACR3) is a receptor for the tachykinin neuropeptide neuromedin-K (neurokinin B). TACR3 is associated with G proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. The rank order of affinity of this receptor to tachykinins is: neuromedin-K > substance K > substance P.
