This affinity purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to an internal near aa 75-100 of human SmarcAL1 protein.

A BLAST analysis was used to suggest reactivity with this protein from human based on 100% homology for the immunogen sequence. Cross reactivity with SmarcAL1 from other sources is not expected due to significant sequence divergence within the immunogen sequence.

Immunohistochemistry: LS-B423 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B423 was determined to be 5 ug/ml.
