Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Description
FBX4 antibody LS-B6496 is an unconjugated goat polyclonal antibody to human FBX4 (FBXO4 ). Validated for IHC and Peptide-ELISA. Tested on 20 paraffin-embedded human tissues.
Target
Human FBXO4 / FBX4
Host
Goat
Reactivity
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Clonality
Polyclonal
Conjugations
Unconjugated
Purification
Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Modifications
Unmodified
Applications

Immunogen
Peptide with sequence C-EHTSAVNKMFSRH, from the internal region of the protein sequence according to NP_036308.1NP_277019.1.
Blocking Peptide
LS-E27316 - Lyophilized - 100 µg - $145.00
Immunizing peptide used to generate LS-B6496. Useful for pre-absorption and neutralization of the antibody's antigen binding site.
Epitope
aa250-262
Specificity
Human FBXO4. This antibody is expected to recognize isoform 1 and 2 (NP_036308.1; NP_277019.1).
Usage
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:8000. Western blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 48kDa band in Human Heart ysates after 1 ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 44.1kDa according to NP_036308.1. The 48kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
Presentation
TBS, pH 7.3, 0.02% Sodium Azide, 0.5% BSA
Storage
Aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
