Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
IGFALS / ALS antibody was raised against synthetic peptide C-GLDLRDLSEAH from the C-terminus of human IGFALS (NP_004961.1). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Marmoset, Pig (100%); Baboon, Monkey (91%); Rat, Bovine (82%).
LS-E27057 - Lyophilized - 100 µg - $145.00
Immunizing peptide used to generate LS-C112656. Useful for pre-absorption and neutralization of the antibody's antigen binding site.
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:16000. Western blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 45 kDa band in lysates of cell line HepG2 after 2 ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 66.0 kDa according to NP_004961.1. The 45 kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
IGFALS / ALS is a serum protein that binds insulin-like growth factors, increasing their half-life and their vascular localization. Production of the encoded protein, which contains twenty leucine-rich repeats, is stimulated by growth hormone. Defects in this gene are a cause of acid-labile subunit deficiency, which maifests itself in a delayed and slow puberty. Three transcript variants encoding two different isoforms have been found for this gene.
