Recombinant fusion protein TrpE-GluR2 (putative N-Terminus portion, aa175-430).
Epitope

Specificity
Recognizes rat Glutamate Receptor 2 (GluR2) at 102kD. Other proteins (66kD or lower MW) appear to be breakdown products of GluR2. In IHC, GluR2 is widely distributed at both the cellular and synaptic levels. Recognizes GluR2 present in a vast majority of, but not all, GABAergic interneurons. Does not cross-react with other AMPA/Kainate GluR subunits. Species cross-reactivity: Macaque monkey and canine.

Usage
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot, ELISA, Immunocytochemistry and RIA. Immunohistochemistry (50um 4% paraformaldehyde fixed tissue): 1:250-1:400. Immunocytochemistry: 4% paraformaldehyde fixed cells. Positive control: Cerebral cortex, pyramidal neurons.
