GPR150 is a G protein-coupled receptor and a member of the vasopressin-like subfamily of receptors that bind vasopressin and oxytocin. Loss of GPR150 is associated with the progression of ovarian cancer. In immunohistochemistry, GPR150 has membranous positivity that is highest in the nuclei of the hypothalamus and medulla in the brain as well as epithelia in peripheral tissues such as the kidney and pancreas, and also inflammatory cells in various tissues. In cancer, GPR150 has faint positivity on tumor cells in colorectal adenocarcinomas as well as pancreatic and prostate cancers, glioblastomas and melanomas.
