A 15 AA synthetic peptide near the C-Terminus of isoform 2 of the human GPVI. The immunogen is located within the last 50 AA of GPVI.

At least three GPVI isoforms are known to exist; this antibody will detect the two longest isoforms. Because of its extensive glycosylation, GPVI often migrates at a higher than expected molecular weight in SDS-PAGE.

GPVI antibody can be used for detection of GPVI by Western blot at 1 ug/mL. Antibody can also be used for immunohistochemistry starting at 10 ug/mL. For immunofluorescence start at 20 ug/mL. Antibody validated: Western Blot in human samples; Immunohistochemistry in human samples and Immunofluorescence in human samples. All other applications and species not yet tested.
