Specificity

Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Alkaline Phosphatase, anti-Goat Serum, Rat IgG, Rat IgG Fc and Rat Serum. No reaction was observed against anti-Pepsin, anti-Goat IgG F(c), Rat F(ab) or Bovine, Horse, and Human Serum Proteins.

Usage

Suitable for immunoblotting (western or dot blot), ELISA and immunohistochemistry as well as other phosphatase-antibody based enzymatic assays requiring extremely low background levels, absence of F(c) mediated binding, lot-to-lot consistency, high titer and specificity. This product has been assayed against 1.0 ug of Rat IgG in a standard capture ELISA using pNPP p-nitrophenyl phosphate catalog no. NPP-10 as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature.
