Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specifications

Description
Vitamin D-Binding Protein antibody LS-C18515 is an unconjugated mouse monoclonal antibody to human Vitamin D-Binding Protein (GC). Validated for ELISA and WB.
Target
Human GC / Vitamin D-Binding Protein
Host
Mouse
Reactivity
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Clonality
IgG1,k Monoclonal
Conjugations
Unconjugated
Purification
Protein A/G purified

Unmodified
Applications
  • Western blot
  • ELISA (1:20000)
Immunogen
Gc-globulin isolated from human plasma.
Specificity
Specific for human Gc-globulin. Epitope specificity differs from those of clones 6F108, 6F110, and 6F111. Reacts strongly with Gc-globulin. Strong reaction is seen in ELISA with Gc-globulin coated directly onto the microtiter well and when tested in sandwich ELISA in combination with a polyclonal antibody against Gc-globulin. In Western blotting after SDS-PAGE reacts with Gc-globulin in both reduced as well as unreduced forms.
Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. ELISA: 1:20000.
Presentation
PBS, pH 7.2, 15 mM Sodium Azide
Storage
Short term: 4°C; Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C.
