Immunohistochemistry Services

Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

TCR Screening Services

Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specifications

Description
Fas Ligand antibody LS-C15142 is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody to human Fas Ligand (FASLG) (C-Terminus). Validated for ELISA and WB.
Target
Human FASLG / Fas Ligand
Synonyms
FASLG | ALPS1B | Apoptosis antigen ligand | APTL | CD95L | CD95 ligand | CD178 antigen | CD95-L | Fas antigen ligand | Fas ligand | FASL | TNFSF6 | APT1LG1 | CD178
Host
Rabbit
Reactivity
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Clonality
IgG Polyclonal
Conjugations
Unconjugated
Purification
Immunoaffinity purified
Modifications
Unmodified
Applications
  • Western blot (1:1000 - 1:5000)
  • ELISA (0.5 - 1 µg/ml)
Immunogen
13 AA peptide from human FASL near the C-Terminus.
Epitope
C-Terminus
Specificity
Sequence is 94% conserved in mouse. It is poorly conserved in human FASL. 92% homologous with rat and mouse FASL. Based upon the sequence homology data, anti human FASL should cross-react with the mouse/rat FASL.
Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000 (ECL). We recommend the use of 0.5-1% milk in diluents used for primary antibody and secondary antibody-enzyme conjugates to suppress background. Rat, mouse and human FASL have 278, 279, and 281aa residues, respectively (Calculated MW of ~32kD). Western blot of the oocyte has detected a specific 31-kD band. A 40kD FASL has been detected in mouse T cells. An alternate detecting reagent, mFAS-Fc also detected a cell surface protein of about 40kD. ELISA: 0.5-1 ug/ml.
Presentation
100 mM Tris, pH 7.5, 0.2% BSA, 40% glycerol.
Storage
Short term: store at 4°C. Long term: store at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
