KLH-conjugated phosphopeptide containing the pTEpY motif of Erk1 and Erk2.
Specificity
Specific for phosphorylated Erk1 and Erk2. Antibody recognition requires phosphorylation of both the threonine and tyrosine residues of Erk1/Erk2. Does not cross-react with activated SAP Kinase 1 or 2. Species cross-reactivity: Human, mouse, rat and chicken.

Usage
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Western Blot Analysis: 0.1-1 ug/ml detects pMAPK in RIPA lysates from EGF-stimulated human A431 carcinoma cells. Non-stimulated A431 and EGF-stimulated A431 cell lysates were resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with anti-pMAPK (0.5 ug/ml). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system. Immunoprecipitation: Use 1-10 ug per immunoprecipitation.
