Immunogen
CXCL9 / MIG antibody was raised against recombinant human CXCL9.
Specificity
Recognizes human CXCL9, otherwise known as MIG (monokine induced by Interferon-gamma), a member of the CXC family of chemokine receptors, secreted by interferon stimulated monocytes, macrophages and endothelial cells CXCL9 signals through binding to (CXCR3). CXCL9 acts as a Th1 (type 1 helper T) cell chemoattractant, and plays a role in the growth, activation and movement of cells associated with, and in tumor growth inhibition and angiogenesis. Studies have shown that CXCL9 is active against E. coli, S. aureus, L. monocytogenes and S. pyogenes.
